1. What are Whipped Body Butters?
Whipped body butters are mostly made with organic butters and solid oils. It is heavier than creams and lotions, as it has less water in it. Due to the fact that it is made from nutrient-rich ingredients, it is used to hydrate, rejuvenate and protect the skin and easily absorbed. Butters are the essential fats and minerals that are extracted from natural ingredients (shea, cocoa, mango etc.)
2. What makes The Bath Habit products different then other natural skincare brands?
At The Bath Habit, we take pride in ensuring that we ethically source our ingredients to create products with the intention to service those who value true self + skin care. Our main ingredient in our products is unrefined Shea Butter sourced directly from Accra, Ghana. We NEVER melt any of our oils as it is proven that once heated, oils lose their nutrients and vitamins.
3. I have sensitive skin and allergies, can I still use the products?
Our products are animal cruelty-free, free of parabens, dyes, and free of synthetic anything. If an ingredient isn't labeled organic, you can be sure that it’s all natural (unless otherwise stated). Our products are especially made for those with sensitive skin and we source nothing but the best ingredients available. While our products are made for all skin types, textures and colors, we offer trial samples to try out if you’d like to do a skin patch test before committing to a full size product. If a reaction occurs, please discontinue use immediately.
4. Where can I purchase the products?
All of our products are sold exclusively at our official website www.thebathhabit.com and our EtsyStore
We do not yet have a storefront but you can purchase our products in the near future at Brick & Mortar stores in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. Be sure to sign up for our email list to stay updated on all things new in our shop.
5. My whipped body looks different. I might've melted, what should I do?
Firstly, take a deep breath. Your butters are still perfectly fine! Since our body butters are made with all natural ingredients + without preservatives or binders, the consistency may vary slightly due to environmental temperature changes in your home or during transit to you. It may lose its fluffy shape and "melt" or solidify in cooler temps. The body butters should be stored in a cool dry place. You can also place the body butter in the fridge for an hour so that it can reform. If you are feeling adventurous, go ahead and use a hand blender to whip the butters back into shape! Send us a pic too!
6. What do I do if I am dissatisfied with my product?
If you are dissatisfied with your products after purchase, please kindly send an email to info@thebathhabit.com with your order number and what product you are dissatisfied with. We will try our best to accommodate.

7. What is the refund policy?
At this time we do not offer any refunds. However, if your product was destroyed or lost during transit, it is solely to our discretion to replace the damaged items.
8. Can I cancel an order once its placed?
Once your order is placed you cannot cancel it, however, if you need to add any products to your order, please email us within 24 hours of placing your initial order and we may be able to update your order. Please ensure that you have all items you need added to your cart before confirming payment.
9. Where is the company located?
Our products are handcrafted in Queens, New York.
10. Are there restock dates?
We do not have specific restock dates for products or collections. You may sign up for restock notifications on the page of the sold out product listing or follow us on Instagram @thebathhabit for updates.
