Lighting and Candle Care Tips:

1. Remove Dust Cover: Before lighting, remove the dust cover. When not in use, cover candle with dust cover to prevent dust and debris on the surface of the candle.
2. Light the Wick: Use a long lighter or match to light the wick. Tilt the candle and hold the flame to the wick for a few seconds until it catches.
3. Allow Full Melt: Let the candle burn long enough to form a full melt pool of wax across the surface (usually 1-2 hours) to prevent tunneling. Do not burn candle more then 2-3 hours a time.
4. Snuff Out, Don’t Blow: Avoid blowing out the candle. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame for a clean finish. Our Candle Care Kit includes a candle snuffer and other candle accessories.
5. Re-light Carefully: If the wick has trouble lighting or a high flame, gently trim off the burnt wood wick with a nail clipper or our Candle Care Kit and then reignite the fresh wick.
